Construction workers injured in downtown Dallas car crash

Dallas, Texas – Three construction workers sustained injuries when a car crashed through a traffic barrier and landed in an underground work area near the Perot Museum in Downtown Dallas.

The incident occurred on Houston Street, and according to Dallas Fire-Rescue, a distracted driver entered the construction site and drove into the hole where the workers were present. The car pinned one of the workers in the hole.

All three injured workers were promptly transported to the hospital for precautionary measures. Fortunately, their injuries are reported as non-life-threatening.

The driver responsible for the accident has been identified as 31-year-old Aighiray Harper. Harper was arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants.
