The tragic event unfolded in the 9500 block of Scyene Road, where police were called to the scene at approximately 9:15 a.m. on December 27. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a dire situation. Jamarcus Irving, 22 years old, along with another victim, were found with gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response from Dallas Fire-Rescue, Irving was pronounced dead at the scene.
