Dallas Police searching for a suspect after shooting incident that left two people injured

Dallas, Texas – A suspect is currently on the run following a shooting that injured two individuals, including a teenager, early Tuesday morning in Dallas.

The shooting occurred just after 7:30 AM in the 3900 block of Happy Canyon Drive, situated near I-45 and Simpson Stuart Road. Dallas police have been actively investigating the situation since receiving reports of the incident.

According to the police, both a man and a teenager were shot at this location. They were promptly taken to a hospital, fortunately with non-life-threatening injuries. The circumstances leading to this shooting are particularly distressing.

Reports indicate that the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. The suspect was reportedly arguing with his mother, and when a neighbor tried to intervene, the situation escalated. After leaving the scene initially, the suspect returned armed with a gun and fired shots into the neighbor’s home, resulting in the injuries.

The Dallas police are now searching for the suspect, who fled the scene and is still at large.
